Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Fry Cemetery. Bro. Larry Wisdom, Bro. Leslie Jewell, and Bro. Ivan Jones will be officiating. Visitation is requested 4pm-8pmCT/5pm-9pmET, Friday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main Street, Greensburg, KY, and after 7amCT/8amET, Saturday until time of the funeral service. He was born on Wednesday, October 16, 1918 in Metcalfe County, Kentucky, and departed this life on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 in Greensburg, Green County, KY. He was 94 years, three months, and 14 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Fry Baptist Church. He was a retired farmer, and a WWII Veteran having served in the United States Army. Mr. Poynter is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mozella M.
