So proud of Lindsey Wilson College

By Von Price

Just a little story about Lindsey when I was in high school. Some of you might remember Professor Hoyt.

His daughter (Becky) was a friend of mine and I remember what a big deal it was to go to the S.U.B. (student union building) with her.

When talking to people I meet and finding out where they are from and info in turn about me as well. When they do not know where Adair County is, then you ask them if they have heard of Lindsey Wilson, "Oh yeah," the person will say.? "I know where that is."

That tells one that Lindsay is a well known and respected college.

I am so proud of all the achievements that they have made.

I was in Olive Garden a week ago and saw this young man with a sweatshirt that read "LWC." and I said, "Hey, I know about Lindsey Wilson College."

His reply was "Really?"

That started a conversation and the last thing he said to me was "Thanks for talking to me about Lindsey."

He told me how much he loved the college and living in Columbia, KY.

Thank you Lindsey!
