Just wanted to report that my Golden Retriever, Emmie, has been found and is back at home!!!

My son just went and picked her up just a few minutes ago and she is running around in the living room loving on us!

A man just came up to the door and said he thought maybe he knew where she was. So thankful for this man!!!

He milks on the farm next to us and had gone up to the main house to pay his lease and saw her.

The lady living at our neighbor's house had been feeding her for over a week and had let her sleep on a chair in the back porch. She knew she belonged to someone because of her collar. The man owning the farm wanted to take her off but she wouldn''t let him. Thank goodness!

I Want to thank Columbia Magazine for allowing me to post my ad and picture!

I want to thank everyone who said prayers for me, wrote me, sympathized with me, looked for her, and asked about her!

So glad people cared, thankful she was being cared for and made comfortable, and soooo glad she's back home! -Teresa Roy

Emmie, golden retriever, missing since Jan. 20, 2013 (FOUND)

2013-01-30 - Vester/Christine area, Adair Co., KY - Photo by Teresa Roy.
My Golden Retriever, Emmie, has been missing for over a week now. She was last seen on January 20, 2013 in the Vester-Christine area about a mile off KY 206 on the Christine Road. We fear someone might have picked her up. She very friendly and would go up to anyone. Emmie is almost 3 years old; she's light-golden, has a crazy biting thing she does with her mouth when she grins, and she's wearing a pink collar. If anyone were to see a strange dog in their neighborhood matching her description, please call me at 270-634-3670 or e-mail me at touchofamber@windstream.net. Thank you. We would dearly love to have her back. She's precious! - Teresa Roy Click on ReadMore for Happy Ending Happy Ending, written at 6:22pmCT, Wednesday, January 30, 2013. Emmie is back home.
