Robert Wendell Fields, 74, Edmonton, KY (d. Jan. 28, 2013) He was the patriarch of a large, respected family centered mostly around Metcalfe County, KY. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Forrest Fields. He leaves a total of 36 direct and step living descendants. He was the son of the late Thomas and Vergie Clemmons Fields. He was a retired truck driver, Korean War Veteran and member of the Wisdom Cumberland Presbyterian Church Funeral services will be held 1pmCT, Thursday, January 31, 2013, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 S. Main Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the New Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pm-8pmCT, Wednesday, January 30, 2013, and after 9amCT, Thursday, January 31, 2013, at the funeral home. He was the son of the late Thomas and Vergie Clemmons Fields. He was a retired truck driver, Korean War Veteran and member of the Wisdom Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
