Fatality in Metcalfe County on Bill Pedigo Road, Knob Lick

Name of victim being withheld pending notification of next of kin

Metcalfe County Coroner Larry Wilson confirmed the death of a man on Bill Pedigo Road, off KY 1243, in the Knob Lick Community, at approximately 12pm noon CT, today, Friday, January 25, 2013. The death occurred after the victims car went off the road and a wrecker on the road was unable to stop on the ice covered road. The victim's name is being withheld at this time until next of kin are notified, Mr. Wilson said. The accident was worked by Metcalfe County Sheriff Rondal Shirley and Deputy Marty Jandt. Additional details will be posted when obtained.
