Maude Yarberry, 91, of Columbia, KY, died Friday, January 18, 2013 at 7:14amCT, at Summit Manor Health and Rehab Center, Columbia, KY.

Funeral services will be Monday, January 21, 2013 at 11amCT/12pm ET, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Stanley Watson officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation after will be after 4pmCT/5pmET, Sunday, January 20, 2013, at the funeral home.



Casket Bearers: Jamie Yarberry, Eric Coomer, Anthony Shirley, Kevin Yarberry, Steven Wilcoxson, Seth Edwards.

She was born Thursday, December 22, 1921, in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Luther and Fannie Burton Hardwick. She died in Columbia, Adair County, KY, Friday, January 18, 2013, at at the age of 91 years, 27 days.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Zuel Sampson Yarberry; a son, Doug Yarberry; and a grandson, Ronald Sampson Yarberry.

She was a member of Kellyville Community Church and a homemaker.

Survivors include the following:
  • Two sons: Zuel (Dorinda) Yarberry of Campbellsville, KY, and Jerry (Shelia) Yarberry of Columbia, KY

  • Five daughters: Annette (Glenn) Coomer of Columbia, KY; Marilyn (Mike) Shirley of Greensburg, KY; Connie (Darrell) Coomer of Columbia, KY; Carolyn Yarberry of Cincinnati, OH; Ellen (John) Edwards of Columbia, KY

  • Eighteen grandchildren

  • Twenty-six great grandchildren
