Kern News from Campbellsville University CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY--Campbellsville University students will travel to Washington, DC later this week for the 2013 Presidential Inauguration taking place Monday, January 21, 2013. CU's Phi Alpha Theta, a history honor society, is part of the group attending the inauguration. An estimated 1.8 million people attended the 2009 Presidential Inauguration of Barack Obama, a record breaking number for any event in the nation's capital, according to the inauguration's website inauguration.dc.gov.
