Adair County Fair & Horse Show wins state runner up plaque

COLUMBIA, KY (2013-01-15) - Adair County Fair & Horse Show members attended the 66th Annual Kentucky Association of Fair & Horse Show convention in Louisville, Kentucky this past weekend. While there they received the state runner up Class AA Fair Catalog award in the slick finish category and confirmed plans for the 2013 Adair County Fair.

Attending were: Adair County Fair Board members Fay Davidson, Susan Perkinson, Adair County, James Curry, Harriet Hadley, Jamie Hadley; and Winston Keltner.



The 2013 Adair County Fair & Horse Show dates are scheduled for July 4, July 6, and July 8- July 13, 2013. Family fun games and fireworks are on the schedule for the fourth of July with the Horse Show taking place on Saturday night, July 6, 2013.

Beginning on Monday July the 8 to July 13, Myers International will be playing nightly in the midway. This year we'll again have the pay one price at the gate of $10.00 but on Monday July 8 there'll be a $1.00 off admission coupon available and Wednesday, July 10 will be senior citizen night plus it's family night and admission will only be $8.00 (instead of $10.00) a person that night, which includes all the rides.

This year's fair plans on bringing back popular events from years past such as demolition derbies, cattle shows, beauty pageant, truck pulls, baby pageants, mule pulls, talent shows, floral hall, ATV's, fun pet show, petting zoo, and laser tag plus others.
