Naoma Leavelle, 65, of Louisville, KY, died Friday, January 11, 2013 in Louisville, KY.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 12pm noon CT/1pmET, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville with burial in Louisville, KY. Visitation 12pm noon CT-6pmCT/1pm-7pmET, Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the funeral home.



She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucian and Lula Mae Acree, two brothers and two sisters, George and Frank Acree, Christine Pickett and Catherine Kemp.

Survivors include:
  • Three daughters: Becky McNear (Steve) of California, Debbie Leavelle and Barbara Leavelle both of Louisville, KY

  • Two brothers: Paul Acree of Indiana and David Acree of Texas

  • Two sisters: Rosie Pruitt of Greensburg, KY, and Mary Derrick of Tennessee

  • Five grandchildren

  • and her longtime companion, Jack Spivey
