New GED classes to start February 4, 2013 now forming

Deadline to register is January 30, 2013. Classes will be offered in two sessions of 4 1-hour classes each: from 8am-12pm noon CT, and 1pm-5pmCT.

The Adair County Adult Education Center is offering Free GED Classes beginning February 4, 2013 at the Center, 108 Lindsey Wilson Street, Columbia, KY. The classes are designed to introduce and upgrade educational skills in all subject areas pertinent to the GED test, and are tailored to every students individual needs. Classes will be taught by qualified teachers and tutors are available to every student. The classes will be offered in two sessions of 4 1-hour classes each: from 8am-12pm noon CT, and 1pm-5pmCT Deadline to register for these classes is January 30, 2013. To register or for additional information, please contact the center at 270-384-7475. Reminder: The GED test will be changing effective January 2014. If you have previously taken the GED test and passed only portions of it, you will need to complete the test before January 2014, otherwise all partial testing scores will no longer be recognized. --LeAnna Bennett
