Truman Lester ( T.L.) Moody, age 86 of Tompkinsville, died Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at the Monroe Co.Health Care Center. He was a retired carpenter and a son of the late Fred and Maddie Barksdale Moody.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 29 at 1pmCT/2pmET, at the McMurtrey Funeral Home, 2232 Summer Shade Road, Summer Shade, KY, with burial to follow in the Bushong Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, December 29, 2012, at 10amCT/11amET, until time for services at 1pmCT/2pmET.



He is survived by the following:
  • A step-son, Richard Pipkin of Springfield,IL

  • Two sisters: Georgia Moody of Tompkinsville and Iva Coe of Indianapolis,IN

  • And a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Baliey Moody, two brothers,Marvin and Willie T. Moody,and one sister, Nettie Kate Baliey. Send a condolence to the family of Truman Lester (T.L.) Moody
