Shannon Whitlow Klassen, 39, of Danville, KY, formerly of Greensburg, KY, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2pmCT/3pmET, Saturday, December 29, 2012, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Leslie Jewell and Bro. Freddie Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the Hodges Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be 11am-2pmCT/12pm noon to 3pmET, Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the funeral home.

She was born March 9, 1973. She died Sunday, December 23, 2012, at the age of 39 years, 9 months, and 14 days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. Her family and friends knew her as a prankster who enjoyed laughing and spending time with them.

She is survived by her husband, Troy Klassen, and the following:
  • Two sons: Dalton and Noah Hughes

  • Her father: Thomas Whitlow

  • Two brothers: Shawn Schaeffer (fiancee' Casey Schiesser), and Ron Smith (wife Joyce) of Louisville, KY

  • Two Sisters: Michelle Smith-Norris (husband Tim) of Cincinnati, Ohio and Katrina Nicloe Rucker (husband, Joe) of Upton, KY
In addition to her mother, Shannon was also preceded in death by her son, Blake Thomas Whitlow.
