Mrs. Patsy Ann Dial Posey, Green Co., KY (1950-2012)

She was the matriarch of a large, respected family with many members in Green and Adair Counties of South Central Kentucky. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. She was also a homemaker.


Mrs. Patsy Ann Posey, age 62 of Green County passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2012, at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

The funeral services for Mrs. Patsy Ann Posey will be conducted at 11amCT/12pm noon ET, Saturday, December 29, 2012, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Green County, KY. Visitation is requested 4pm-9pmCT/5pm-10pmET, Friday, December 28, 2012, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT/8amE,, Saturday until time of the funeral service.



Ann Dial Posey, Green Co., KY (1950-2012)


She was born March 22, 1950. She died Christmas Day, December 25, 2012, in Elizabethtown, Hardin County, KY, at the age of 62 years, 9 months, and 3 days.

She is survived by her husband, James Glen Posey of Green County, KY, and the following:
  • A son and daughter in law: Bradford Glen and Chrissie Posey of Greensburg, KY

  • A daughter and son in law: Angela Renae and Tony Scott of Adair County, KY

  • Grandchildren: Josephine Grace Posey, Lily Leeanna Posey both of Greensburg, KY; and Conner Anthony Scott, Curt Jamison Scott, and Carson Reed Scott all of Adair County, KY

  • Three sisters and two brothers: Mildred Dile, Carolyn Young both of Greensburg, KY; Wayne Dial of Elizabethtown, KY; Steve Dial, and Michelle Salmon both of Greensburg, KY

  • A special caregiver: Mary Chrisman of Greensburg, KY
Memorials are suggested to the Maple Hill Cemetery or the Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
