Columbia Police deliver toys to deserving Adair Co., KY families Santa duty completed at 7pmCT. Gifts went to families and kids identified by the Adair County Schools' Family Resource Centers. Josh Brockman, Public Affairs Officer Columbia Police Department, Chief Jason Cross Columbia Police Chief Jason Cross along with Officers Jordan Dean, Charles Greer, and Josh Brockman were out Christmas Eve delivering toys and clothes to families throughout Adair County. The gifts were given to children identified through the Family Resource Center and CPD School Resource Officer Kevin Atwood. By 7:30pm the gifts were delivered and placed under their respective Christmas trees awaiting the children. In these hard economic times we are thankful for the opportunity to play a small role in bringing a little Holiday Joy into as many households as we could. Columbia Police hope to expand the program in years to come to better meet the needs of the community. - Ofc.
