Columbia Police deliver toys to deserving Adair Co., KY families

Santa duty completed at 7pmCT. Gifts went to families and kids identified by the Adair County Schools' Family Resource Centers. Columbia CPD hopes to expand program in future years.

Columbia Police Chief Jason Cross along with Officers Jordan Dean, Charles Greer, and Josh Brockman were out Christmas Eve delivering toys and clothes to families throughout Adair County.



The gifts were given to children identified through the Family Resource Center and CPD School Resource Officer Kevin Atwood.

By 7:30pm the gifts were delivered and placed under their respective Christmas trees awaiting the children.

In these hard economic times we are thankful for the opportunity to play a small role in bringing a little Holiday Joy into as many households as we could.
