Fatal house fire: Victim found inside Monroe residence

Victim is Earnest Walker, 72, Tompkinsville, KY. KSP Detective Jamie Richard and Arson Investigator, asisted by Monroe County Sheriff's Department, Coroner, and Fire Department and Mudlick Fire Department on scene. No foul play is suspected, but investigation is ongoing.

MONROE COUNTY, KY) - Kentucky State Police in Columbia was contacted by Monroe County Dispatch on December 22, 2012 at 9:02pmCT, in regards to a fatal house fire at 187 Brown Cemetery Road. Upon arrival Post 15 units discovered the residence was completely destroyed by fire.



The victim, Earnest Walker age 72, of Tompkinsville was located inside the residence. No foul play is suspected and an autopsy is scheduled later this date. The investigation is ongoing by Det. Jamie Richard and Arson Investigator Alex Wesley. KSP was assisted at the scene by the Monroe County Sheriff's Department, the Monroe County Coroner, Monroe County Fire Department and Mudlick Fire Department.
