Garry Dicken, 62, of Campbellsville, KY, Tuesday, December 18, 2012, in Louisville, KY.

The funeral service will be at 10amCT/11amET, Friday, December 21, 2012, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Bro. Robert Boston and Bro. Dennis Penick. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg Road, Campbellsville, KY.

Garry Dicken, Taylor County, KY (1950-2012)

Garry Dicken of Campbellsville, son of the late Homer Dicken and Alma Barr Dicken, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, July 4, 1950. He died Tuesday, December 18, 2012, in Louisville, KY, at the age of 62 years, 5 months, and 14 days.

Pallbearers: Richie Handy, Mike Jones, Danny Newton, Barry Reynolds, Garland Shines, Howard Thompson He professed faith in Christ and attended God's Friendship Chapel.

He was a retired employee of the United States Postal Service.

He united in marriage to Barbara Shively December 6, 1968.

Besides his wife, Barbara Dicken, he is survived by the following:
  • Two daughters: Tammy White and husband, David and Pam Dicken of Campbellsville, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Mylea White, Tanner White, Lydia Dicken and Chase Burton of Campbellsville, KY

  • One sister in law, Freda Dicken of Cape Coral, Florida

  • An uncle: Wayne Barr of Columbia, KY

  • Two nieces: Melinda King and husband, James and Kim McVay of Campbellsville, KY

  • And many other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by one brother, Windell Dicken, December 18, 2004.
