Paul David Stephens, 69, of Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY, died Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at the Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Funeral services for Paul David Stephens will be 1pmCT/2pmET, Friday, December 21, 2012, at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with burial in the Bernard Cemetery. Friends may call after 10amCT/11amET, Friday at the funeral home. Rev. Billy Silverman will be the officiating clergy.



Pallbearers: Randy Stephens, Robin Stephens, Terry Stephens, Jimmy Stephens, Darrell Popplewell, Vince Popplewell, and Vincent Tucker.

He was born Friday, November 12, 1943 in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Aquilee and Ima George Stephens. He died Wednesday, December 19, 2012, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 69 years, 1 month, and 7 days.

He was a retired Carpet Store Owner and a member of the Main Street Church of God.

Preceded in death by a brother, Chester Stephens.

Survivors include the following:
  • A daughter: Regina (Rodney) Wright, Russell Springs, KY

  • A grandaughter: Laura Owens, Russell Springs, KY

  • Two sisters: Joyce Popplewell, Russell Springs, KY, and Phyllis Antle, Jamestown, KY

  • Two brothers: Veston Stephens and Jack Stephens, both of Russell Springs, KY
