Deputy Bray sends Shout Out to Knifley, Pellyton fire units

An update on the Pellyton arsonist arrest: Credit Deputy Aaron Rainwater with the arrest; shout out recommended for Knifley Fire Department and their Pellyton Station personnel
Comments re article 56295 Unnamed juvenile arrested in Pellyton KY arson case

by Adair County Deputy Sheriff BJ Bray

Mr. Waggener,If you could, please change the arresting Officer to Deputy Rainwater. He and I were investigating separate cases which we knew were probably related. He made the arrest on the Saturday, December 7, 2012, while he was investigating the fire.

Also if you can, give Knifley Fire and the Pellyton Station a well earned 'shout out'. It's my understanding that they were able to keep the residence from being destroyed by the fire. You might would like to contact CR Drake with Knifley Fire for more detailed info on their fight with the fire.

Thanx!
- Adair County Deputy BJ Bray

Thanks, Deputy Bray: The update is made and, as far as we're concerned there definitely needs to be a Shout Out for the Knifley Fire Department and their Pellyton Station. It's hard to imagine living in the area without them, especially at moments like this one. -EW
