J.L. Barbee photo was Go Ye Missionary Society Vicky Pike's mother, Ruby Barbee are still members of the Columbia Christian Church Go Ye Missionary Society Click on headline for story with photo(s) By Victoria Pike That is my mother in the middle in the black dress and dark hair, Gertrude Browning. She says this was the Go Ye Missionary Society group. She still belongs to it and is still an officer at 89 plus years. She and Miss Ruby are the only ones she knows of still living. Mother still makes her rounds up in the morning to bottle feed Lucy, the calf, and feeds grain to four other little stragglers she feels need a little extra. On occasion, she has been known to help me chase a stray pot bellied pig or help me capture calves in the cattle shoot during vaccinating season.
