Louie F. Buck passed away Saturday December 1, 2012 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY. He was 85.

Funeral services are 11amET/10amCT, Tuesday December 4, 2012 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Danny Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Whited Cemetery. Visitation is Monday 5pm-9pmET/4pm-8pmCT, at the funeral home.



Louie F. Buck, Casey County, KY (1927-2012)


He was born July 3, 1927 in Casey County, KY. He was the son of the late Cordell and Bessie Pearl Withers Buck. He died Saturday, December 1, 2012, in Danville, Boyle County, KY, at the age of 85 years, 4 months, and 29 days.

He was a farmer and attended Shady Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ila Barbara Thomas Buck.

Survivors include the following:
  • Daughters: Rosemary (Gary) Picklesimer of Canal Winchester, Ohio and Marlene (Gary) Monday of Liberty, KY

  • Three grandchildren; Jennifer Feldman, Karrie Boggs and Susan Dunaway

  • Nine great grandchildren: Jakob Boggs, Alex Feldman, Kayla Dunaway, Nathan Boggs, Emma Boggs, Sam Feldman, Madison Dunaway, Anna Boggs, and Aly Boggs
  • Brother: Paul Buck of Liberty, KY

  • Three sisters: Nellie Wilson of Loveland, Ohio, Nina Hamm of Liberty and Vanie McMahan of Cincinnati, Ohio

  • And several nieces and nephews
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Shady Grove Baptist Church.
