His marriage to Mary Jean Chewning Jeffries, who survives, endured over 56 years. He leaves three direct living descendants. He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He was a former employee of Campbellsville Industries Cosby "Dick" Jeffries of Campbellsville, KY died at 5:45pmET, Thursday, November 29, 2012, in Elizabethtown, KY. He was 79. Funeral services will be at 11amET/10amCT, Monday, December 3, 2012 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY by Rev. B. C. Gillispie and Rev. Jase Divens. Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg Road, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation is after 6pmET/5pmCT, Sunday, December 2, 2012. Pallbearers: Paul Bohannon, Harry Moss, Larry Moss, Terry Moss, Thomas Moss, and Matt Wood. Cosby (Dick) Jeffries, Taylor Co., KY (1933-2012) Cosby "Dick" Jeffries was the son of the late Cosby "Pete" Jeffries and the late Omie Bagby Jeffries. He was born in Green County, KY, Sunday, June 11, 1933. He died Thursday, November 29, 2012, Elizabethtown, Hardin County, KY at the age of 79 years, 5 months, and 18 days. He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He was a former employee of Campbellsville Industries. He united in marriage to Mary Jean Chewning January 14, 1956.
