Dormas Dale Dunbar, 69, of Lakeway Drive, Russell Springs, died Thursday, November 29, 2012,at his home.

Memorial service for Dormas Dunbar will be 2pmCT, Monday, December 3, 2012, at the Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY. Visitation will be after 1:30pmCT, Monday, December 3, 2012 at the funeral home. Rev. Steve Janes will be the officiating clergy.

Dormas Dale Dunbar, Russell Spring, KY (1943-2012)

He was born Wednesday, July 8, 1943 in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY. He was the son of the late Benfer and Capitola Fox Dunbar. He died Thursday, November 29, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 69 years, 4 months, and 21 days.

He was a veteran of the US Navy and a member of the French Valley United Methodist Church.

Survivors include the following:
  • Three children; Anthony Dunbar, Harrodsburg, KY; Mike Dunbar, Liberty, KY; Amanda Allaire, Milwaukee, Wisconsin

  • Five grandchildren: 4 great grandchildren

  • One brother; Danny Dunbar, Russell Springs, KY

  • Step mother: Nina Dunbar, Jamestown, KY

  • Two step sisters: Connie Blankenship, Jamestown, KY; and Peggy Yates, Lexington. KY

  • One step brother; Danny Foster, North Carolina
