Roy Andrew Harrington, Taylor Co., KY (1948-2012)

He was a highly regarded citizen of Taylor County, KY. He is survived by his wife, Linda Harrington, Campbellsville, KY. He leaves three direct living descendants. He is warmly remembered by co-workers at Fruit of the Loom from Adair, Green, Casey, Taylor and elsewhere. He had over 30 years service with the company, many of those in the Jamestown, KY plant

Roy Andrew Harrington, age 64, died Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at his residence in Campbellsville, KY.

Funeral services for Roy Harrington will be conducted at 11amET/10amCT, Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home, 503 E. Main Street, Campbellsville, KY, with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg Road, Campbellsville, KY. The family requests visitation 5pm-8pmET/4pm-7pmCT, November 30th at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home.


Roy Andrew Harrington, Taylor Co., KY (1948-2012)

He was born February 11, 1948. He died Wednesday, November 28, 2012, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 64 years, 9 months, and 17 days.

He was retired from Fruit of the Loom after 30 years of service, including many in Jamestown, KY.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Harrington, and the following:
  • One son Jason Andrew Harrington of Plano, TX

  • One daughter: Amanda Hall of Danville, KY

  • One grandchild: Jacob Hall of Danville, KY.

  • Two brothers: Phil Harrington of Louisville, KY; and David Harrington of Richmond, VA

  • Four sisters Helen Ball, Doris Siers, Barbara Edelen and Bonnie Heady all of Louisville, KY.



    The family requests all donations go to Hosparus of Central Kentucky in lieu flowers.
