William (Bill) Flatt, Russell County, KY (1923-2012) He was the patriarch of a large, highly regarded Russell County, KY family. He leaves 15 direct living descendants. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving in WWII and a member of the Russell Springs United Methodist Church William "Bill" Flatt, 89, of S. Hwy. 127, Russell Springs, died Sunday, November 25, 2012, at the Oaklawn Health & Rehab Center in Louisville, KY. Funeral services for William "Bill" Flatt will be at 1pmCT, Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with burial in the Russell County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at 10amCT, Wednesday, until time for the service. Rev. Jim Kingry and Rev. Dennis Price will be the officiating clergy. William "Bill" Flatt, Russell County, KY (1923-2012) He was born March 27, 1923 in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late James Joshua and Louetta Piercy Flatt. He died Sunday, November 25, 2012, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 89 years, 7 months, and 29 days. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving in WWII and a member of the Russell Springs United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene Rose Sullivan Flatt; two sisters, Orpha Antle, Susie Morrow and two brothers, Pascal Flatt, and Troy Flatt. He is survived by the following:
