AC Garden Club will offer class on fighting garden pests, diseases By Barbara Armitage President, Adair County Garden Club The Adair County Garden Club together with Day and Day Feed and Pet will offer Garden Solutions - a Guide to Fighting Pests and Diseases at 1pmCT, Thursday November 15, 2012 in the basement of the Columbia/Adair Chamber of Commerce, 201 Burkesville Street, Columbia. Everyone is invited to attend this free class. This is a free class offered to the community. Preregistration would be appreciated. To register please contact Barbara Armitage at 270-250-2979. It doesn't matter if you plant flowers or vegetables in your garden or even if you prefer to just have a lawn being prepared is the key to successful gardening. Learn how to choose the right lawn or garden product for your disease or pest problems including organic solutions for chemical free gardening. Simplify your garden work by being prepared. The Garden Club meets at 1pmCT on the 4th Thursday of each month in a variety of locations. Each meeting is designed to expand your knowledge of gardening techniques, landscape ideas, environmental issues, natural resources, birds, wildlife and more. There are no fees or dues to be a member of the Garden Club and everyone is welcome. We are committed to making Adair County a more beautiful, safer and healthier place to live.
