Nov. 4, 2012) ![]() Click on headline for full obituary with photo(s) Brenda Sue Matthews, age 55, of Edmonton, KY, was called home by the Lord on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at her home. Funeral services will be held 2pmCT, Thursday, November 8, 2012, at Pink Ridge Church, 2910 Beechville Road, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Church cemetery. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at the church. She was the loving daughter of Raymon and Lorene Davis Taylor. She was an employee of Carhartt in Edmonton, KY and a faithful member of the Pink Ridge Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 35 years Charles Dewayne Matthews She was the loving mother of four children: Charity Letitia (James) VanVoorhis of Edmonton, KY; Angela Renee (Shawn) Beauchamp of Glasgow, KY; Amber Dawn Matthews of Edmonton, KY; and Adam Dewayne (Roxanne) Matthews of Edmonton, KY She was the loving grandmother of four grandchildren: Sarah Michelle, Emily Sue, Shelby Grace VanVoorhis and Kayli Paige Beauchamp. She also survived by four sisters and one brother. Betty (Johnny) Jessie, Mary (Richard) Matthews, Callie (Ronnie) Green, Ruth (Walter) Gibbons and Patrick (Pam) Taylor.
