Martha Allen Shelton, Green Co., KY (1939-2012) ![]() Martha Allen Shelton of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Otha Lee Allen and Ina May Hancock Allen, was born on Saturday, October 21, 1939 in Taylor County and departed this life Friday, November 2, 2012 at the University of Louisville Hospital. She was 73 years and 12 days of age. The funeral service for Mrs. Martha Allen Shelton will be conducted at 1pmCT, Monday, November 5, 2012, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 South Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg Road, Columbia, KY. Bro. Blake Jessie and Bro. Carlos Compton will be officiating. Visitation was requested 3pm-9pmCT Sunday and after 7amCT, Monday, November 5, 2012, until time of the funeral service. Martha Allen Shelton, Green Co., KY (1939-2012) Martha Allen Shelton was the daughter of the late Otha Lee Allen and Ina May Hancock Allen. She was born on Saturday, October 21, 1939 in Taylor County, KY, and departed this life Friday, November 2, 2012 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY. She was 73 years and 12 days of age. Mrs. Shelton has made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg Baptist Church. She had worked for Fruit of the Loom as a Floor Lady and for Central Furniture. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Mr. Ellis W. Shelton, having united in marriage on October 21, 1961, and the following:
