He received a PhD from the University of Mississippi and was an English Professor and Chairman of the English Department at Campbellsville University. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church Dr. William R. Neal, 69, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 7amET, Saturday, November 3, 2012 in Campbellsville, KY. Funeral services will be at 11amET/10amCT, Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Dr. Ted Taylor. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, West Main Street, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmET/4pm-7pmCT, Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at the funeral home. Dr. William R Neal, Taylor County, KY (1943-2012) Dr. William R. Neal was the son of the late Amos Neal and Ethel Owens Neal. He was born Monday, February 15, 1943 in Brockwell, Izard County, Arkansas. He died Saturday, November 3, 2012 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 69 years, 8 months, and 17 days. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church. He received a PhD from the University of Mississippi and was an English Professor and Chairman of the English Department at Campbellsville University.
