Mr. Donnie Ray "Rusty" McAllister, 57 of Campbellsville, Kentucky, departed this life on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at the Taylor Regional Hospital.

The funeral services for Mr. Donnie Ray "Rusty" McAllister will be conducted at 10amCT/11amET, Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Green County Memory Gardens in Summersville. Bro. Les Bullock will be officiating. Visitation is requested 4pm-8pmCT/5pm-9pmET, Friday, November 2, 2012, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT/8amET, Saturday until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Jonathan McAllister, Bradley Radcliff, John Parrish, Paul Parrish, Chuck Rogers, and Rodney Burress.

Mr. Donnie Ray "Rusty" McAllister was the son of Mary Ruth Marshall McAllister of Campbellsville, and the late Raymond R. McAllister. He was born on Monday, March 14, 1955 in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky, and departed this life on Sunday, October 28, 2012 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY. He was 57 years, 7 months, and 14 days of age.

He was a former Respiratory Therapist for Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY.

Besides his mother, he is survived by the following:
  • Two sons and two daughters: Jennifer McAllister, Lance McAllister both of Texas; Erin Burton of Oklahoma, and Collin McAllister of Campbellsville, KY

  • A brother: Kent McAllister of California

  • A half sister: Marilyn Fair of Missouri

  • Three grandchildren

  • One great grandchild

  • A nephew: Jonathan McAllister of Greensburg, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
The Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main Street, Greensburg, KY in charge of arrangements.
