She was a native of Indiana. She will be returned to her church home in Monroe County, KY for services and interment

Misty Renee Spidell, age 25 of Martinsville, IN, died Sunday, October 28, 2012, at her home. She was a daughter of Donald White of Avon, IN, and Sterlina Spidell Shelton of Martinsville, IN.

Funeral services will be at 1pmCT, Friday, November 2, 2012, at the Church of Latter Day Saints, 3000 Radio Station Road, Tompkinsville, KY with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 10am-1pmCT, Friday, November 2, 2012, at the church.

She was a daughter of Donald White of Avon, IN, and Sterlina Spidell Shelton of Martinsville, IN.

She was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints of Tompkinsville.

Other survivors include:
  • Three sons: Johnathon Spidell, Preston Ray Capps and Lucas Blake Covey

  • One sister: Amber Lynn Spidell of Lexington, KY

  • And two brothers: George Bill Shelton and Kenny Bowman both of IN
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Geneva Bryant Spidell and Stuart (Bud) Spidell.

McMurtrey Funeral Home, 2232 Summer Shade Road, Summer Shade, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
