Update on Trooper involved in shooting: Suspect in stable condition

Hardin Co. Trooper in shooting while investigating burglary By MTPR Norman Chaffins, Public Affairs Officer
Kentucky State Police Post 4, Elizabethtown, KY

The suspect in this case, Joshua Blough, is still listed in serious but stable condition and is under Kentucky State Police guard. The Trooper involved in the shooting was Tpr. Dewan Kelly. Tpr. Kelly is a 12-year veteran with the Kentucky State Police. Detectives are consulting with the Commonwealth's Attorneys' Office and charges will be forthcoming on Blough once he is released from the hospital. Other charges are pending.
