LWC Volleyball beats Cumberland University, 3-1

COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson College volleyball team beat visiting Cumberland (Lebanon, TN) University 3-1 Thursday night at Biggers Sports Center. After winning the first two sets 25-18 and 25-10, the Blue Raiders dropped the third one 25-16 to the Bulldogs before rallying for a decisive 25-11 win in fourth set.

LWC improves to 22-8 overall and 11-2 in the Mid-South Conference. The Blue Raiders are in second place, two games behind first-place Georgetown (Georgetown, KY) College. Georgetown is ranked No. 11 in the NAIA. Cumberland fell to 7-22 overall and 1-12 in the MSC.
