Doyle Davis, 69, of Russell Springs, died Tuesday, Ocotber 23, 2012 at his home.

Funeral services will be at 10amCT, Monday, October 29, 2012, at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Mill Springs Ntional Cemetery, 9044 W. Highway 80, Nancy, KY/ Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Sunday, October 28, 2012, at the Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY. Bro. Jimmy Garner will be officiating.



Doyle Davis, Russell County, KY (1943-2012)

He was born Sunday, January 10, 1943 in Pulaski County, KY. He was the son of the late Dewey Clarence and Fannie Bradley Davis. He died Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at his home in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 69 years, 9 months and 13 days.

He was a truck driver and a Veteran of US Army.

He was a member of the Bethany Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Lynn Wilson Davis, Russell Springs, KY, and the following:
  • Three children: Nathan (Donna) Davis, Russell Springs, Margaret Sullivan, Russell Springs, KY; and Donna (Leon) Kislan, Ft. Stewart, GA

  • Seven grandchildren: Michael Allen Davis, Kelsey Lynn Sullivan, Lynette Gail Davis, Jason D. Davis, Lindsey Carol Sullivan, Benjamin Lee Kislan, Savannah Lynn Kislan.

  • Host of honorary grandchildren

  • One great grandchild: Cameron Blake Davis

  • One sister: Edna Elliott, Lexington, KY

  • Two brothers: DeWitt Davis, Russell Springs, KY; Daniel Davis, Florida
