CU's DPI election interview to air on KET KY

John Chowning moderates program with Trey Grayson, Colmon Eldridge II, and Jeffery Scott Jennings

CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY - "Dialogue on Public Issues," Campbellsville University's WLCU-TV show, will have a special one-hour show discussing the upcoming presidential race on the KET Kentucky Channel, KET3.

The air times of the DPI episode are Friday, October 26, 2012 at 6:30amET; Monday, October 29, 2012 at 4:30amET and 5:30amET, and Monday, November 5, 2012 at 5:30amET, all on KET KY, which is cable channel 239 in Campbellsville.



John Chowning, vice president for church and external relations executive assistant to the president of Campbellsville University, hosts the weekly show.

In this episode, Chowning interviewed Trey Grayson, director of the Institute of Politics at The John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and past Kentucky Secretary of State.

He also interviewed Colmon Elridge II, executive assistant to Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear, director of the White House Faith Based Initiatives and executive vice president of Young Democrats of America.

The show's third guest was Jeffery Scott Jennings, senior advisor of the Romney campaign in Ohio, past senior advisor of the George W. Bush 2004 campaign in New Mexico, director of strategic development and senior strategist for Peritus Public Relations in Louisville, special assistant to President George W. Bush and deputy director of the Office of Political affairs.

Throughout the episode, Chowning hosted discussions on the current issues of the day, such as the national debt and economy, and the three guests presented arguments on how their choice candidate, President Barack Obama or Gov. Mitt Romney, canbring solutions to the table.

Chowning's "Dialogue on Public Issues" shows are regularly seen at 6amET on Mondays and 7amET on Fridays on KET KY. - Mary Kutter, CU
