Adair's next, for June 1 in planning stage; complete details on Metcalfe County and Green County events below; also in CM Reunions; also in CM Events
By Mike Watson
Adair County Historian
The History-Genealogy community is very excited about the second Adair County Book Fair which will take place at the Historic Courthouse on the first Saturday in June, June 1, 2013! Our turn in June 2012 was tremendous and patrons and vendors alike were pleased with the selection of Adair County and regional items for sale. We hope the second book fair will be even bigger!
In the meantime, I would like to alert the history-genealogy folk about the upcoming:

Metcalfe County Historical Society Book Fair will be 9am-3pmCT, Saturday, October 27, 2012, at Leftwich Hall, Bowling Community Park, 1608 West Stockton, Edmonton, KY. This is the first for Metcalfe County and there are high hopes for a stellar crowd. Contact Kay Harbison: firstname.lastname@example.org or 270-428-3391.
Green County Genealogical Society 10th Annual Book Fair
The Green County Genealogical Society will host their 10th annual Book Fair, 8am-2pmCT, Saturday, November 3, 2012, in the Fire and Rescue Building, 111 East Hodgenville Street (behind Greensburg Baptist Church), Greensburg, KY. Contact Barbara Wright, 270-465-7125.
