Daniel Fitzgerald, Russell Co., KY (1934-2012)

He was a native of Michigan and the patriarch of a large, respected Russell County, KY family. He is survived by his wife, Ethel Marlene Fitzgerald, and 19 direct living descendants. He was a veteran of the US Army and was retired from Ford Motor Company. Services will take place in Wilmington, OH. Bernard Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Daniel Fitzgerald, 78, died Monday October 22, 2012 at his home in Russell Springs, KY.

The funeral service is at 2pmET/1pmCT, Saturday, October 27, 2012 at the St Columbkille Catholic Church, 73 N. Mulberry, Wilmington, Ohio. Visitation is at 12pm noonET/11amCT, at the church Burial in the Sugar Grove Cemetery.


Daniel Fitzgerald, 78, died Monday October 22, 2012 at his home


He was born Monday, July 9, 1934 in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan to the late Edward David and Cecilia Cantwell Firzgerald. He died Monday, October 22, 2012, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 78 years, 3 months, and 13 days.

He was retired from Ford Motor Company and was a veteran of US Army.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel Marlene Fitzgerald, Russell Springs, KY, and the following:
  • Six children: Mary Ellyn Feola, Michigan, Anne Scott, Wisconsin; Danny Fitzgerald, Michigan; John David Fitzgerald, Michigan; Charles Edward Stutenroth, Cincinnati, Ohio,and Matthew Scott Stutenroth, Michigan

  • Twelve grandchildren

  • One great grandchild
