Larry A. Foster, Sr. age 66 years of Gentry Mill Road Columbia, KY, passed away Sunday October 21, 2012 at 10:40pmCT, at his home after an illness.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 1pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Rick Neff and Bro. David Coffey, officiating. Interment in Freedom Cemetery, 576 Freedom Church Road in Adair County, KY. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at the funeral Home.



Pallbearers: Kem Bell, Ron Wooley, Mark Turner, Billy Eller, Ronnie George and Trevor Foster.

Larry A. Foster, Sr., Adair County, KY, (1946-2012)

He was born Friday, July 12, 1946 in Adair County, KY. He was the son of the late Willie and Dorothy Bryant Foster. He died Sunday, October 21, 2012, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 66 years, 3 months, and 9 days.

He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Stanton Foster on August 2, 2011, and also by one brother Jerry Foster.

He is survived by the following:
  • One son: Larry Foster, Jr. and his wife Nancy J. of Columbia, KY

  • Two sisters: Joyce Turner and Redith George and husband Willie of Columbia, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Britany Lynn Foster, Trevor Dean Foster and Samantha Duff

  • One great grandchild: Zachary Duff

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
Larry was a member of New Victory Baptist Church in Russell Springs, KY.
