The ADAIR Band performed brilliantly at the West Regional Competition at Hart County High School, Munfordville, KY, on Saturday, October 20, 2012, and came in 1st Place in the KMEA West Regional Competition.

They join 7 other West Regional AAA bands and 8 East Regional Bands for State Semifinals Competition Saturday, October 27, 2012, at Allen County-Scottsville, KY, and hopefully, in the State Finals in Bowling Green on Saturday night.

Going to State from the West Regionals: Russell County, Warren East, South Warren, Boyle County, Elizabethtown, Adair County, Taylor County and Allen County-Scottsville.

Going to State from the East Regionals: Estill County, Bourbon County, Powell County, Garrard County, Rockcastle County, Rowan County, Holmes, and Corbin.
Our neighbors, Taylor and Russell County High Schools (bold above) made the State Semi-Final List. Bourbon County is also in bold, above, because it is under the direction of Eric Hale, an ADAIR Band Alumnus. We'll have more on the State Schedule on CM later in the week. - Shamarie Claiborne
