Salvation Army calls for more volunteers Red Kettle Days will be November 10-Christmas Day, 2012. A great group of volunteers have already signed up, including ACHS celebs Ashley, Heather, Brittany and Rosalin. More are needed Click on headline for full story, photo(s) By Ellen Zornes News from the Adair County Service Unit, Salvation Army It's getting to be that time of year when our thoughts turn to those in need. You can help others in our community by volunteering to ring the bell for this year's Salvation Army Christmas Kettles. We'll be ringing at both Walmart and IGA again this year beginning November 10 - Christmas Day. We certainly realize the economy is horrible, but we have been so thankful for all the donations we have received these past couple of years and truly hope this season will be no exception. So just call me, Ellen Zornes, at 270-384-3400 to schedule your group's time to ring that little red bell that brings so much hope to those in need in our community. Thanks...and let me be the first to wish you a Merry Christmas!! - Ellen Zornes This story was posted on 2012-10-20 03:30:49
