Millersfield Ladies Quilting Circle is headed for record year Click on headline for full story with photo(s), contact information for helping the Circle do its good work - CM By Linda Roberts News from The Millerfields We've been really busy since July of this year, when we last reported on ColumbiaMagazine.com. The Ladies Quilting Circle of the Millerfield Brethren in Christ Church, 1935 Millerfield Road, Columbia, KY had produced and given away approximately 62 quilts at that time. Since then, the total is 94 for the year. We appreciate all the donations of money and material to the cause. Members of the circle are Linda Roberts, Glenna Bailey, Joanna Lehman, Tammy Jackson, Clestine Neat, Ova Roberts, Glenna Bailey and one member who is shy, and ask to remain anonymous. Quilts from the Millerfield Ladies Quilting Circle go to many places: To Casey County, to Russell County, Adair and Taylor County, to name a few. Most were for benefits, some went directly to families in need. Anyone who would like to help the cause may contact me at 270-634-0309 or 270-384-5235 or Clestine Neat at 270-384-4478, or any member's number. To donate directly to our cause, donations may be made at the First National Bank, Main Street, Russell Springs, KY to: Millerfield Brethren in Christ Ladies Missionary Circle. - Linda Roberts This story was posted on 2012-10-17 10:47:28
