Clark leads Lindsey Wilson Men's Golf to 2nd place at Bardstown Blue Raiders just 7 strokes off champion Bellarmine University total Click on headline for complete story with photo(s) By Dan White News from Lindsey Wilson Athletics BARDSTOWN, KY - Nathan Clark earned an individual medal with a two-round score of 148 (74-74) to lead the Lindsey Wilson College men's golf team to a second-place finish in the St. Catharine Fall Invitational at the the Bardstown Country Club's Maywood Course, 30 Maywood Avenue, Bardstown, KY on Tuesday, October 16, 2012. The Blue Raiders shot a total 615 strokes over two rounds (314-101) to take second, while Bellarmine University, Louisville, KY, won the team title with a 608 (311-297). Both teams improved their scores from Monday as the vicious winds that plagued the first day cooled down. Daron Morris was next in line for Lindsey Wilson, improving eight strokes from his day-one total for a 153 (80-73) which was good for a tie for seventh place overall. Ryne Burnett took 12th place after carding a 157 (79-78). Jonathan Grabara rebounded with a seven-stroke improvement to register the final counting score of 76. His two day total ended up being 159 (83-76). Campbellsville (KY) rounded out the top three with a 627 (315-312). Also posting scores for the Blue Raiders were Nathan Hincks with a 163 (81-82) and Tom Hurst competed as an individual, carding a 164 (84-80). Clark helped earn his win with the help of seven birdies, leading the way for Lindsey Wilson to finish with a tournament-high 19 birdies as a team.
