Joslyn, Koizumi Lead LWC Golf in St. Catharine Fall Invitational News from Lindsey Wilson College BARDSTOWN, KY - Sara Koizumi shot a team-best 78 (41-37) and Kelsey Joslyn carded a 79 (40-39) to put the Lindsey Wilson College women's golf team in first place on Monday, October 15, 2012, after one round of play in the St. Catharine Fall Invitational at the Bardstown Country Club's Maywood Course, 30 Maywood Avenue, Bardstown, KY. Koizumi is in second place overall and Joslyn is right behind in third as the duo helped put the Blue Raiders in front by 19 strokes. As a team, Lindsey Wilson fired 323 strokes with Campbellsville (Ky.) as its nearest competitor with a 342. Pikeville (Ky.) is in a distant third with a 362, while Campbellsville's Katie White is the invitational leader with a 74 (41-33). Backing up the low scoring pair for the Blue Raiders was Jennifer Mackinnon and Amy Brown in a tie for fourth place overall. Mackinnon reached her score of 83 with a 40 on the front nine and 43 on the back, while Brown shot a 41-42. Candace Stacy finished just outside the top four with an 85 (42-43). Joslyn kept her low score alive with stellar play on par-three holes, finishing three-under par while also finishing second in birdies with three. Koizumi scored low with consistent play all day, leading the field with 11 pars.
