LWC Mens golf 3rd after 1st round at St. Catharine Invitational Two teams from Louisville, KY - Spalding and Bellarmine, are 1-2; Campbellsville University is in 4th Place News from Lindsey Wilson College BARDSTOWN, KY - Three strokes is all that separates the Lindsey Wilson College men's golf team from first place after the Monday, October 15, 2012, first round in the St. Catharine Fall Invitational at the Bardstown Country Club's Maywood Course, 130 Maywood Avenue, Bardstown, KY. Spalding, of Louisville, KY and Bellarmine, also from Louisville, KY, are tied for the lead with a score of 311, while the Blue Raiders are within striking distance with a 314. The tight leader board doesn't end there as Campbellsville, University, Campbellsville, KY, is fourth with a 315 and Pikeville University, Pikeville, KY, is fifth with a 320. Nathan Clark led the way for Lindsey Wilson, shooting a 74 (39-35) which is also tied for the individual lead overall. Georgetown College's J.T. Ross matched Clark's round, but his Tigers are tied for sixth place with a 322. Ryne Burnett joined Clark in the 70's with a 79 (38-41) as the other two counting scores for Lindsey Wilson were in the low 80's. Daron Morris fired an 80 (43-37) and Nathan Hincks finished carding an 81 (40-41). Clark is tied for the lead in birdies with four and finished two under in par-five scoring with an average of 4.5 strokes.
