Arlene Pettey, Russell Springs, KY (1926-2012) She was a native of Whitley County, KY and the matriarch of a highly regarded Russell County, KY, family, the widow of the late Dr. Joe T. Pettey, MD. She was a registered nurse and a member of the Russell Springs, KY, Baptist Church. Arlene Pettey, 85, of Russell Springs, KY died Thursday, October 11, 2012 at her home. Funeral services will be at 2pmCT, Saturday, October 20, 2012 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Charles Gore officiating. Interment in the Russell Springs City Cemetery. Visitation will be 5pm-7pmCT, Friday, October 19, 2012, at the funeral Home. Arlene Pettey, Russell Springs, KY (1926-2012) Arlene Pettey was born December 12, 1926 in Whitley County, KY. She was the daughter of the late William and Nellie Williams Alsip. She died Thursday, October 11, 2012, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 85 years, 9 months, and 30 days. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Joe T. Pettey, MD, who died September 30, 1995. Mrs. Pettey was a registered nurse and a member of the Russell Springs First Baptist Church. She is survived by the following:
