Dixie Shelton, 73, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 10:25amET, Saturday, October 13, 2012, in Campbellsville, KY.

The funeral service will be at 2pmET/1pmCT, Sunday, October 14, 2012, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Dr. James Jones. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg Road, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be after 12pm noon ET/11amCT, at the funeral home.



Pallbeaers: Bill Hargan, Gary Larimore, Freddy Milby, Randy Milby, Darrell Smith, and Gary Smith.

Dixie Shelton, Taylor County, KY (1939-2012)

Dixie Shelton was the daughter of the late Colby Judd and Margie Wright Judd. She was born in Green County, KY, Tuesday, February 14, 1939. She died, Saturday, October 13, 2012, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 73 years, 7 months, and 27 days.

She was of the Baptist Faith.

She is survived by ex-husband, Howard Poling of Campbellsville, KY, and the following:
  • One son: Larry Shelton and wife, Tammy of Summersville, KY

  • Two granddaughters: Carla Davis of Elizabethtown, KY; and Beth Bland and husband, Willie of Campbellsville, KY

  • Four great grandchildren: Timothy Davis, Kenneth Christopher Davis, Cassie Squires, and Emily Squires

  • Two great great grandchildren: Mason Davis and Tessa Davis

  • Several other relatives and friends
