Calvin Puckett, Jr, Green County, KY (1924-2012) Calvin Puckett, Jr. was born February 18, 1924 in Sonora, KY to the late Calvin Puckett, Sr. and Sarah Anna Geralds Puckett. He departed this life Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at the Woodlawn Terrace Health Care Facility in Elizabethtown, KY, having attained the age of eighty-eight years, seven months and twenty-one days. Mr. Puckett had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg Methodist Church. In 1988 he retired as a General Manager of T.C.R. Inc., a subsidiary of Texas City Refining. He was a United States Army Veteran, serving during World War II. He was a Kentucky Colonel, a member of the Greensburg Masonic Lodge #54 F & A.M., the Central KY Amateur Radio Club, American Radio Relay League, Quarter Century Wireless Association, a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans and James L. Pruitt VFW Post 5813, Greensburg, KY. He was also a member of the Rob Lowe American Legion Post 124 Greensburg, KY and a charter member of the Green County Golf Club. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death in 2002 by one daughter: Geraldine Wilson. He is also preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters. On September 23, 1945 Mr. Puckett was united in marriage to Doris E. Boyd Puckett, who survives. He is also survived by:
