Hazardous Weather Urgent: Freeze Warning. issued at 9:38pmET, Wednesday, October 10, 2012: ".....FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM EDT /2 AM CDT/ TO 9 AM EDT /8 AM CDT/ THURSDAY...
TEMPERATURES...LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM THE UPPER 20S TO LOWER 30S IN MOST LOCATIONS. VALLEYS AND TYPICALLY COLD LOCATIONS ARE MOST LIKELY TO BOTTOM OUT THE UPPER 20S.

IMPACTS...WIDESPREAD FROST FORMATION IS EXPECTED AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT...AND THE FROST WILL LINGER AN HOUR OR SO PAST SUNRISE. SUB-FREEZING TEMPERATURES AND FROST WILL LIKELY CAUSE SENSITIVE PLANTS TO BE DAMAGED OR KILLED IF LEFT UNCOVERED.

Overnight - Widespread frost. Otherwise, clear, with a low around 32. Calm wind.

Thursday - Widespread frost before 8am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 65. Calm wind becoming southeast around 6 mph in the morning.

Thursday night - Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 50. Light southwest wind. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
