Hildreth Reid Lawson, Burkesville, KY (1923-2012) He was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, a farmer, a road construction worker, and a U.S. Army Veteran having served in World War II Hildreth Reid Lawson, age 89, of Burkesville, Ky. passed away on Monday, October 8, 2012, at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday October 13, 2012 at 11amCT, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N. Main Street, in Burkesville, KY. Burial will follow in the Lawson Cemetery in Cumberland County, KY. The family requests visitation after 6pmCT, on Friday October 12, 2012 until time of service on Saturday. Hildreth Reid Lawson, Burkesville, KY (1923-2012) He was born on Tuesday January 30, 1923 in Cumberland County, Kentucky the son of Jesse and Georgia Owsley Lawson. He died Monday, October 8, 2012, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 89 years, 8 months, and 9 days. He was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, a farmer, a road construction worker, and a U.S. Army Veteran having served in World War II. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, William Kent Lawson, Charles Kenneth Lawson, and Odolphus Lawson, his sisters, Audrey Lawson, Susie Horsley, Jessie Williams, Evanna Herriford, and Clara Kimbel Lawson. Survivors include a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. Professional service provided by Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N.
