News from the Adair County Garden Club

Fall is in the air and once again it's time for the Adair County Garden Club 's famous Apple Butter. You can support the ACGC by purchasing this delicious Apple Butter either by calling in your order or visiting us at the "Garden Cafe' "on Saturday, October 13, 2012 during Downtown Days on the Square in Columbia.



We know that a big question on everyone's mind these days is "Where does my money go"? When you are trying to make every penny count it's important to know what they are all used for.

When you support the Adair County Garden Club by purchasing their famous Apple Butter here's some of what you are helping us pay for.
  • 1 rose bush for the Trabue House Rose Garden = 7 half pint jars of the ACGC's Famous Apple Butter
  • Mulch for the Daylily Gardens on the Square = 30 half pint jars of the ACGC's Famous Apple Butter
  • Annual fertilizer costs for Downtown = 2 pint jars of the ACGC's Famous Apple Butter
Do your part by supporting the Adair County Garden Club's efforts to help our community to be a wonderful place to live.

To purchase the ACGC's Famous Apple Butter contact Maury Lewis at 270.634.2092 or visit us at the "Garden Cafe "on Burkesville Street during Columbia's Downtown Days Festival, Saturday, October 13, 2012. The ACGC's Apple Butter is available in half pints- $3.50 and pints - $5.50. Sugar free half pints - $4.00.
