Drivers taken to WRH, TRH after 2-car bypass crash From Columbia Police Department The Columbia Police Department responded to an injury accident on Veterans Bypass, on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at around 12:30pmCT, The accident occurred when a 1996 Chevrolet pickup driven by James Absher, 85, of Columbia, KY,was traveling South on Burkesville Street and ran a red light and struck a 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass driven by Mary Spencer, 28, of Columbia, KY, who was traveling west on Veterans Bypass. Absher was transported to Westlake Regional Hospital and Spencer was transported to Taylor Regional Hospital by Adair EMS. The accident was investigated by Columbia Police Department officer Jamie Cole. This story was posted on 2012-10-09 12:17:07
